According to Indian tradition, there are four Vedas — Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda, collectively known as the Chaturveda.

Rigveda is regarded as the oldest and most significant Veda.
It contains 1028 hymns dedicated to various deities.
Famous Gayatri Mantras addressed to Agni, Indra, Vishnu, Rudra, Varuna, and others originate from this Veda.
Yajurveda primarily explains rituals, ceremonies, and spiritual practices.
It is a compilation of the procedures a priest follows while performing ritualistic worship and offerings.
It contains 1875 verses.
Samaveda is a collection of hymns set to music.
It is considered the foundation of Indian classical music and dance, and among the oldest musical traditions in the world. 🎶
Atharvaveda is the fourth and final Veda.
It is known as a treasury of daily-life wisdom.
Rather than focusing solely on spiritual teachings, it reflects the culture, traditions, healing practices, longevity methods, hymns, and mantras of the time.
